Information: Alesha joined Seven-Star in July 2006 as the National Volunteer Director and has recently switched her roles, now working as the National Program Manager. Alesha blitzes her time managing the national programming logistics and operations for the Green Festival and Mother Earth New Events. Her passion for civic engagement, social change, and her love for sustainability brought her to Seven-Star after working with RiverLink as the Volunteer Director from 2005-2006. Alesha is a graduate of Cornell University and Paul Smith's College with a B.S. in Natural Resources and an A.A.S. in Ecology, respectively. In her free time Alesha travels internationally, rock climbs, fly fishes, and backpacks the trails of Western North Carolina. Some of her most recent international trips include New Zealand, Peru, Thailand, and Guatemala. At home Alesha raises urban chickens, grows a bountiful vegetable garden every year, lives car free, and rides her new Specialized all over Asheville.
